Backing Cards are Almost Designed!

Hi All you Amazing Backers!
Just a quick update about our backing cards...they're almost done!
We've been playing with a few designs; one with an all "parchment" background and one with a royal purple background. Sabrina worked her butt off to put these together for us and we sat down the other day, going over the designs and seeing what we liked and what we didn't like.
Ultimately, we're going with the purple background over the parchment one, changing up some of the colours in the text and changing up some of the wording so that things flow a little better and the different design elements, pop, pop, POP! :)
We've also decided on the smaller of the rounded corner options (1/4") and will be darkening up the parchment background so that the pin looks like it's in a spotlight. These are going to be awesome!
We should have some finalized designs on card stock in short order. Then, it'll be packaging and packing AND SHIPPING!
We are sooooo excited to get these to you. I think you're REALLY going to love them! :)

Hello Adventurers,
Before we get onto our updates and a bit o' news, just a few words about our missing Winter Holiday update. It was drafted by Kit. It had some snazzy photos in it as well, along with warm wishes for everyone. The update was edited by Sean, but guess what? It never got published.
We've noticed with Kickstarter that in order to publish or save an update draft, we have to click the button twice. I guess we didn't hit that publish button twice. Sigh!
There's not much point in reviewing the updates from the holiday post now, because we're farther along then expected. We reviewed the updated quotes received from the manufacturers that we contacted earlier in 2021, and we requested a few more from some new manufacturers. As expected, the cost increased. Thankfully, we raised additional funds with Add-ons through BackerKit and a few direct sales of sticker packs, so we have enough funds to pay for the production of all rewards.
We then selected a manufacturer with a 12-year history specializing in enamel pins. As some of you may know, companies in China often shut down in February to celebrate Chinese New Year. Sometimes they close down for the entire month of February. Luckily, our manufacturer will be closed only for a couple of weeks.
As of a few days ago, we were informed that the molds are finished. Pin production will be finished before celebrations begin for Chinese New Year. Once the company returns to business, the pins will undergo a quality check and be shipped out sometime during the week of Feb 16-20th.
We're hoping to have some pics of the pins being produced sent to us. Once we get them, we'll share them with you in a future update. :)
We still have three outstanding surveys that need to be submitted. We've re-sent the link to the surveys and have contacted these Backers directly through email. We've also sent messages to them through Kickstarter. If you haven't received your survey, please make sure to whitelist or add our email in case our emails are bouncing. We'd love to find out which pins you'd like shipped your way.
Lastly, we're ready to do an official launch for our Esty Shop. Our official launch day is January 23rd. Come watch us live stream at 2pm EST that day and hear about the new products we have available in the shop.

US Shipping Has Been Fixed!

Hi US Backers,
Despite BackerKit being down off and on through the evening for maintenance, I found windows of opportunity when their website was functioning to correct the shipping for US Backers. From now on, anyone residing in the US will be charged a $10 flat fee as we stated in the campaign.
Even with multiple eyes going over the pledge tier details several times, we all missed seeing that the US profile hadn't been added.
You may resume filling out your surveys, if BackerKit permits it this evening.
Again, for anyone in the US who has already been billed and paid $15, we will refund the difference as soon as we can.

Cross your fingers that's the only SNAFU that occurs.
